FACTS members met with Representative Demi Busatta Cabrera at Celebrity School of Beauty in Miami. The group shared the concerns FACTS members have as it relates to the 150% rule impacting certain programs at members schools. The rule has been challenged in court and is currently stayed as a Preliminary Injunction was granted by a Federal Judge in Texas. FACTS will be advocating and lobbying the Florida Legislature to add an Advanced 600 Hour Full Specialist program and Advanced 600 Hour Skin Care program in the 2025 Legislative Session.
